NextFrame Studios is a leader in cinematic visual effects, delivering breathtaking imagery for award-winning films, television, and streaming platforms worldwide. We are seeking a Pipeline Technical Director to design, implement, and manage efficient production workflows. In this role, you will oversee rendering pipelines, automate compositing tasks, and ensure seamless data exchange across departments. You will collaborate with VFX supervisors, artists, and software engineers to troubleshoot bottlenecks, maintain version control, and integrate new tools into the studio’s infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include optimizing asset management systems, ensuring render farm efficiency, and supporting artists in solving technical challenges. The ideal candidate has strong experience with VFX production pipelines, scripting languages such as Python, and industry-standard tools like Nuke, Maya, or Houdini. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects while driving innovation in the visual effects process.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance studio pipeline (Maya, Nuke, Houdini)

• Develop tools/scripts in Python for automation

• Support artists and troubleshoot pipeline bugs

• Collaborate with supervisors on pipeline updates

• Integrate cloud rendering solutions

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in VFX or animation pipeline roles

• Proficiency in Python and ShotGrid/Deadline

• Familiar with GIT, APIs, and Linux systems

• Knowledge of render farms and asset tracking
